Hello everyone new to the forums, but not the game. I have decided to try my hand in making a couple scenarios and sharing them with the community. Just got a couple quick questions that i couldnt find a answer to while looking thru the forums.
I have Civ IV 1.74, Warlords 2.13 & BTS Unpatched. I have tried to patch the BTS from Firaxis website up to 3.13 twice but to no avail. For some reason after 11 hours as im on dail-up (small town), I only DL 108 MB each time and it comes in a unzip form which doesn't work, according to what i read it should be 121mb so not sure what that is all about. This leads to my first question:
1. If i use just the worldbuilder for my scenario on BTS Unpatched to place cities and troops etc.. Would someone with BTS 3.13 be able to play it or would it be incompatible?
2. If it is compatible would adding new units to the scenerio make it incompatible?, this of course refers to making the scenerio in BTS Unpatched and someone trying to play it using the BTS 3.13 update.
