Hiya,
I'm used to the old CIV3 map making tool, where I simply hopped into a Worldbuilder program and things would go from there
However in CIV4 it appears I can only make maps by starting a single player game and then entering the World Builder from the Options menu.
Not only is this frustrating I have further problems.
I've tried using the Change all tiles feature to give me a blank canvas of Ocean but very strange things start to happen!
Roads and improvement are left on all the squares, the Oceans get strange dark patches and the overall layout of the Continents that were there previously now appears on the ocean, with darker areas and marked out coast lines etc...
It all looks very strange and is not what I expected.
Does anyone know how to simply create a huge blank map of Ocean for me to start working on...
If I can't do that then I'm going to be very unimpressed! I always used to build my own maps, don't enjoy the 'random' generator as it can really ruin your game
Please someone, help!
