Yes, I'm attempting to make a scenario. :) (wish me luck on that...) Anyway, I'm in need of a map for a Ghengis Khan scenario which should include all of Asia, all of Europe (including England, Iceland, and Greenland - I'm going to use greenland to place kings in terrain where you can't move), and the Middle East (including the medditeranian (sp)).

No Greenland, and alot of Africa for a Mongol scenario, but it's something at least. You could have the Kings on New Guinea or something.

I have an ol' CivII scen with a quite good Eurasian map laying around on my HD, BTW. I could upload it so that someone could extract the map and do a conversion, if you're interested. It uses a somewhat unorthodox projection, which better perserves the relative sizes of different parts of the continent (ie, Europe and Siberia look quite small compared to a Mercator map).

Edit: I think this map was originally done for a Mongols scen, altho the incarnation I've got is in a China vs CIS WWIII scen.

I'll have to run that one through Babelfish. :D Of course, porting it to C3C means replacing the fog of war... which will take my computer quite a while to do. ;) I do like the Eurasia map, though. I'll probably place the kings on the islands... and not let ships have lethal bombard.

EDIT: hmm, this one does have the fog of war intact. Some maps from PTW and vanilla Civ3 don't when you bring them over to C3C it seems.

Well, I'm planning to make it so that the Mongols have a king (Ghengis Khan) so that they can have units without any cities. It's possible without a king, but if you lose just one unit, you lose the game. I could work with that, though... but it would make it harder. I also didn't want the player just driving towards the capital. That's one issue I've been iffy on, but I guess I could leave it to no kings (if you lose one unit, you lose the game - adds a challenge...).
