So I met a civ from an area I hadn't explored and exchanged capital intell. Big mistake. Now I can't scroll the map back to where my civ is. It is part of the save file apparently as exiting and restart doesn't help.

I tried uploading an image here but it doesn't seem to work.

EDIT: Patch version 1.0.0.26 (221715)

You should be able to click to the left of the mini-map and "stair step" your way back to your home city. Clicking the "unit needs orders" button should also zoom you to that unit.

That doesn't work. Middle clicking in the main area doesn't scroll left any further than the image shows.

Clicking "unit needs orders" scrolls to the trapezoid box to the left edge of the preview box, but the underlying map is still half off the screen. Right clicking shows the unit needs to travel 32 turns to reach the destination.

I've been playing CIV since the first one under DOS. I know how to scroll the screen around.

Took a bit to find it. I had gone to a prior autosave and got around it.

I noticed something there. I met Spain and we exchanged palace city info. I hit goodbye and the map scrolled over to Madrid. Before I could do anything, another civ offered me a trade deal. I suspect that interaction is what caused the map to become odd.

Anyway, I've attached the save.
