Map zoom

After I gain 'Calender' as a technology, the map zooms out, and stays there. Is there a function to zoom in and out? If so where is it or what keys activate it? Thanks.

Also the scroll wheel on your mouse will zoom in and out.

Also the scroll wheel on your mouse will zoom in and out.

That only works when you're playing in full screen mode. When you're playing in windowed mode, it moves the map north and south. Rather frustrating.
