This thread is for completed maps, and also for all other cartographic discussion. Requests, tests, examples, ideas, and discussion is appropriate here. I will maintain this thread by editing the few opening posts to contain all completed material to date -- with the caveat that I'll do it rather infrequently.

Probably no need for more than three reserves.

Post any Requests or Additions to the OP here!

Daft's (and mine to a degree) cradle map that you have is considerably out-dated, there's no rivers, mountains, or late tweaks etc. I no longer have the current version on my comp, but its on the forum somewhere. :)

There's a post in the NES dev thread with links to about 8 cradle maps too.

You want me to find more posts after having searched for all of these? :(

There's a link to the newer version right below the map, but it should probs be more prominent.

I was going to find them. Just thought it'd be helpful to provide some notification. Sorry.

There've been plenty of fictional non-earth maps, why not add some of these into the list as well (I find them useful for reference of techniques used.

I know Iggy made a nice galaxy map and I've used it for some fun with friends but I was wondering if anyone had something similar for our galaxy, or our arm, even just our star and say the 20 closest ones would be fine. I just have a shaky hand and a crappy mouse so its kind of difficult for me to make anything close to Iggy's without spending half a day and pressing ctrl z a lot.

You should stop saving as jpg as it is really screwing with the image quality.

PNG is going to be like a 2 MB file that I can't be bothered to deal with or host right now; don't give a damn about other people editing it as it's read-only.
