Philly,
I want to beat Deity with every leader, so I'm going in order from Easiest to Hardest. I've already done it with Augustus and I'm doing it now with Confucious. Who should be next? Is Ada OP (new DLC often are, to encourage buyers). In general I prefer peaceful play, so I can win quicker (not by turns, but by time; don't have to spend a lot of time moving units etc.).

Extra points for a general strategy with your leader including civs in each age.

Ada + Maya looks absolutely busted to me.

I haven't played them all yet, but Machiavelli is a strong pick. Lots of gold from his ability, and the levy anyone ability works in a pinch if you didn't invest into your own military.

Harriet Tubman has an immense advantage on defensive wars, and espionage is such an exploitable system that you have to consciously not take advantage of it.
