Marine Infantry Graphics?

Most would argue that the F-15 is the worst UU. So, in my mod, I wanted to replace it. Throughout the years there have been several discussions on this matter, typically with the Minuteman, USMC, or Navy SEAL being the favored alternatives. I think the Minuteman come too early for an American Golden Age and since I changed the American leader to FDR that seemed to align nicely with a GA during the World Wars period and the USMC.

What I never really paid attention to is, that while the standard Infantry represents trench warfare, the standard Marine (which comes a short time later) seems to jump all the way up to a Vietnam-era Marine. Unfortunately, that makes the awesome user-created WW USMC units feel "outdated" compared to standard Marine. This doubly stands out considering they are supposed to be a superior UU. Anyhow, I am looking for a generic World Wars Marine to replace the standard Marine. Does anybody have a suggestion for a good unit with Civ colors?

I share that opinion too. I think that existing Marine graphics better fits American USMC, maybe you can use this unit by ShiroKobbure as generic Marine?

The Marines were still using a lot of World War 2 weapons in the early years of the Vietnam War. The Marines and some of the Japanese Army units were the only units trained in amphibious warfare prior to World War 2. Then the British, Australian, and New Zealand units were pretty much forced into it. I do not really count Gallipoli as indicating amphibious expertise for the British Army as that was a one-off invasion.
