Maximum Bomber Rebase Range?

I've noticed that on Huge maps bombers can't rebase all the way across the world in one turn. But they can rebase pretty far away. Does anyone know the exact limit, or its relationship to the stated range of the ship?

AFAIR : max distance is bombing range multiplied by 4 (or 3)

I'm pretty sure the re-base range is equal to operational range times 6. I think they changed the multiplier in Conquests though, and I can't remember if 6 is the multiplier before or after.

6 certainly "feels" about right. I play on standard maps and I don't recall EVER not being able to rebase a bomber where I wanted it. I believe a bomber's range is 8 tiles.

Bomber range is 10 in C3C 1.22; six as a multiplier seems about right but my estimation is poor. It's definitely more than three.
