I take back anything I said about culture flips not being a big deal. I just played a game last night in which Oh-my-Lord, _six_ conquests in a row flipped! Two cities, twice!

I was over the "ideal" city limit for that sized map, so maybe that had something to do with it. I was also concentrating on industrial production and producing military units, rather than making nice-nice for my citizens' spare time activities, but hey, I *wanted* to play as Spartans/Klingons/whatever...

But man, I lost more garrisoned military units in revolts than I lost in combat, and I was hurting mightily for a military by the time I 'surrendered' for winning so much... One city 'flipped' just one turn after my only Army left ... coulda been ugly ...

Besides, that was the only Army I've ever built, and I'm so far unimpressed. What's the point of only having one attack for three units, except for the ridiculously high hit points?
