Mechanized Infantry and City Garrison

Hello,

I'm playing AND 1.76 beta 5, and I've noticed that in the versions of RoM and AND I have played up to now, Mechanized Infantry are cut off from the City Garrison promotion line. I can see HOW it happens -- Mechanized Infantry are "Wheeled Units", not "Gunpowder Units"-- but it still seems very odd to have a unit in the gunpowder chain (Arquebusier, Musketman, Rifleman, Infantry, Modern Inf, Mechanized Inf) missing what I consider to be a primary promotion. Is that deliberate, or is it an oversight?

I have wondered about this too. Personally I would like to have the City Garrison promotion back. It was in the original game and there was no reason to remove it.
