So I am thinking on retaking the mod I made when CivV was released to extend the medieval era (see signature below) now for G&K. Seems some people like that period and/or dislike most of the end game eras.

Basically the game plays the same during ancient and classic eras, then when reaching medieval time/turns slow down, so that the rest of the game plays only in middle ages until 1550.

Main changes that the mod had and will have are:

  • Extended medieval tech tree
  • All policies for 3 first Eras (3 ,2 and 4/5)
  • New medieval units, buildings, wonders
  • Revised victory conditions
  • Revised leader/civ traits so all are useful

I have mostly been searching for medieval items already created by other people, but apart from units I have not seen an extended tech tree for middle ages. If anyone knows of any good mods that have added medieval elements let me know please.
