Member's absence thread.

Oh no, that's really sad, I will be remembering you and your mother in my prayers

Oh Classy, Im so very sorry. I greatly sympathize with you. My mother also informed me yesterday that she has been diagnosed with cancer in her lungs and back. She is already a breast cancer survivor. So don't lose heart, there is always hope. When I spoke to her, Mom said "time and unforeseen occurrence befall us all"—Ecclesiastes 9:11, and she said that she would put her trust in God. I will pray for your Mom.

Sorry to hear that Classical. Still, doctors don't know everything so keep the faith and the hope. Also, my prayers and wishes go out for Sommerswerd's mom as well.

We just heard from the Doctor that is treating her and we got some terrible news, since the cancer has spread and it i so big that is pushing out against the skin and it stinks, so we know that we do not have much time with her. The worst news is that this is treatable had we known about it much earlier, and that is the part that we just do not understand why she kept it from us.

Oh no, that's really heartbreaking :(

My thoughts and prayers to you and your family, Classical. Hopefully, you can all come together during this time.

In light of the more recent posts in this thread this seems banal. All the best to those who are not well.

I am going to be out of town for Easter (Friday to Monday) and will only have marginal internet access if any. Please remember my perspective on issues in my absence. Someone has to be a hard ass in treaty negotiations. Bet you all luv the UN too

Just a quick note...
I'm completely out of pocket for the next two weeks without internet access! (China. lol)

See you all on the flip side. Hope to see our soldiers pillaging the Inner Sanctum and the Shining Daimyo's head on a pike when I return :)

Hey guys,

I want to apologize for falling off the map lately. I just haven't had the time lately with work and other commitments. I am in the process of looking for another job for next year and I won't be able to devote much more time to this game. I haven't played CIV in months now and have even less time for the forums. You don't need to worry about my loyalties as Team Kazakhstan will always be my team. In fact, I am considering applying for a job in Astana so perhaps Cultural Learnings of Kazakhstan for Make benefit Glorious Nation of Canada. I will let you know if I do end up there.

Thanks for everything and maybe I will see you around in the future.

Hi team,

I've just moved house and there's been a mixup with the broadband connection :(

I'm having to connect using a mobile internet connection and it ain't great!

We're going to need to have someone else fill in as turn player until around the 26th of May. I'll still be on the forums though.

Hopefully I will still be able to play my other pitbosses but I didn't want my bad connection causing problems in the team pitboss.

(ps. can someone login and gift MS Monotheism asap please!)

EDIT: I managed to login and gift mono to team MS

I can handle the turns. Just need regular input in "tactics and strategy" from the team as to what we want to do. :)

well you've already done your turn for this round, so when we've done our turn we just won't end turn we can then pause it at the end of the following turn. it won't need to be paused for long though

man, my internet sucks eggs. still can't connect. good thing I have cav scout to depend on :)
