Memory Leak

Does the game have a memory leak? I always have to restart my computer after playing to get it 'back' to normal speeds just for internet browsing etc.

I have never had any problems with it but a lot of people say there is one. Have you installed the 1.61 patch?

IIRC, people reported memory leak when they play Civ4 on online game.

@raymondieee: I am not sure if this is a leak or not, but on my computer, it can last up to a couple of minutes until Civ4 releases all memory after I finish playing. You can observe this e.g. via Task Manager, Processes. You should be able to see how civ's memory consumption slowly decreases, until the process is finally gone.
