Merging Mods?

Ok, I'm sure this has been asked and answered somewhere else, but the search function doesn't seem to work for me. My question is, can anyone explain how to merge mods? Pretty much my only problem is the gamecore file. I have no idea how to combine them.

You need to merge two sets of source files (text files with code), and then recompile them using e.g. Codeblocks. Look for Kael's guide on installing the SDK.

Where would I get the source files for the mod?

It depends entirely on the mod you've downloaded. Some mods provide a separate "SDK" folder in the mod folder, while others have a separate download. A few don't release their source code at all. If I were you, I'd check the first post of the threads, and ask there if you're not sure.
