If the merger isn't an April Fools joke, I'm certain TF is very much regretting the timing of the announcement. Throw in the wholesale locking/moving/deletion of threads by an unknown mod at about 6PM EDT yesterday (many of which were in no way spammy or merger-related) and I'm inclined to just say frack it and stay away for a while till the dust settles - except with two CivIVor games in progress and another starting just last night (another case of bad timing I suppose) it'd just add to the pain.

Those threads were by a few users who thought it would be funny to spam Off Topic. That is why they were closed.

@ Nylan CFC and poly already have hosting so as I stated in two other threads civjunction would of taken:
1. 20 minutes
2. A Template
3. €10 or less, depending on if their hosts had special offers for registering domain names (that's the civjunction.com bit for people who don't run websites)

Well I hope it is only a fool. It must be. I am against such a merger, at least under this conditions. Since when do we have to pay for downloads? This here is made from private persons for other persons. It is for free for all fans. No one, except ourselves, has any rights to take money for the things we made. I clearly forbid that any of my works are paid for. Otherwise a civil action will follow! The whole society would collapse once money would be taken, especially for the older games. If you want to get rid about that say it openly.
