i think hes pretty funny, havent seen the new movie, but i did see the bowling for columbine one, and it was good, but from the hype i had expected more, longer movie and maybe funnier

i did see his first movie, Roger and me, and thats his best movie,hands down

But actually, and correct me if I'm wrong cause I Am an old fart, but.. when one holds that symbol up over one's forehead like that, isn't one making the universal, "I'm a Loser" sign?

Now there's some irony.

You are referring to the youngest man to ever serve as the President of the United States. I suppose from a modern perspective, his memory is somewhat faded but I have always considered him one of my personal heroes. And by comparison with today's breed of politicians (of all parties) they Definitely don't make 'em like they used to!

I don't see the resemblance, but I guess the case could be made..?
In any case, there was no real comparison between these two men aside from the fact that they were contemporaries who lead their respective nations during the Age of Imperialism.

Why are you people so hateful towards Michal Moore? I admit, maybe his way of getting people's attention is a bit....excessive, but his movie was very well made and thought out, and several points that many flatly refuse to acknowledge are exposed. If this movie doesn't turn a lot of people's heads in interest, our country's going to hell in a handbasket. Presidency is not a business, it's a job and a responsibilty. I wouldn't be surprised if Bush wins this election, if not just by buying his way in *again*. And if he does win again, I wouldn't be surprised if he made a constitutional amendment so he could get himself elected a third term. This, gentlemen, is not a presidency. It's the beginning of a dynasty.

also, 1 thing to be said for him, he gets his facts right, i read trough many right wing web pages, complaining about bowling for columbine, and the stuff they were complaining about is like, well he said it took him 10 minutes to get a rifle at that bank, in reality it takes a full hour!

+he never said it took 10 minutes, he just wisely cut away the 50 minutes of him waiting for the paperwork to be done!

They didn't give free guns away at the bank. They gave vouchers for a gun at a local gun shop. And he had to go through a complete federal background check. He just came back to the bank and walked out of it with the gun.

I dont hate Michael Moore either. To do so would be to grant him the sort of attention he craves most. Hating someone's message does not equate to hating them as an individual. I have said the same thing about Clinton. If I ever met Slick Willie in a bar or we went bowling together, or played a round of golf, I am sure it would be one of the finest experiences in my life. He Is a charming, intelligent person. That being said, the moment a discussion of politics came up and I was forced to slash his liberal arguments to ribbons by sheer logic, He might not find My company as enjoyable as I did his.

Michael Moore on the other hand.. well, I can see the bar thing, and maybe bowling, but not if it included trying to score a strike by abusing the grief of family members of the Columbine tragedy.

Presidents do not change the Constitution. Congress and the Constitutional Convention of the States do. Besides.. according to the left, Bush never won in 2000, so when he wins this November, why Shouldn't he run in 2008? It would only be for his second term.
