I have this position details:

standard big&small map with islands
DeGaulle, emperor level

.) moved onto the stone to get a faster start with these 4-food only tiles
.) got cramped into a corner, but found horses
.) now with the intention of chariot rushing egypt, so take this into consideration if you
-> help me with the mid term dot map of my empire

Chariot rush city is easy, SE of horses so you don't have to built a monument. It's not good for the fish, but that's less important when your game hinges on the first 60-70 turns.

Later on, 2N of southern fish, 1S of between gold and pigs, 1N of east gold.

Later on, possibly also 1N of eastern gold to grab gold, silver and deer. Suppose you need farms along the river to make it good, and a monument for land pop.

Perhaps it felt like a distraction and lost turn at the time, but would be nice if you had stepped onto the hill 3N of the Thebes pig to see if there is any semi-useful land there.

Vicawoo has picked out all the really strong spots I can find with your scouting so far.

Also keep in mind 2S of the northwest fish, stealing some tiles from chariot-rush city and capital, and 1NW of the southern clams. I wouldn't prioritize either of those two, but they'd be good spots to settle when 100 hammers for a settler isn't such a big deal - they'll be better than break-even.

so this was my idea

pink dot the horse rush chariot city, can later still get a 5food fish, it's kind of mediocre but so would be a city 2 south of the fish.
it leaves room for red, which is powerhouse city with corn, gold, several floodplains and several hills.
light blue south I agree with vicawoo, working the nice river delta full of floodplains, a lot of cottages a additional specialists
orange is where I want to relocate Theben if no wonders, it will be monster GP farm and can support 8 specialists pre-civil service at a size of 13

One can argue about 1 off the coast, but relocate a tremendous Capital having 3 sources of Food, are you mad?

Where I would found cities:
  1. 1 NW of the horses (has Chariot-Rush-city without need for Monument)
  2. 1S 1W of eastern Gold, can share Corn, and has Deer
  3. 1 S of the Gold on the FP, has Pigs and can share the Corn.
  4. Blue Dot is good.
  5. 2N 1W of Gold on the plains-hill (Size 2 Worker / Settler / Missionary pump)
  6. 3S 2W from Capital

EDIT: you wanted to chariot rush, not HAs :/

EDIT EDIT: i have revised it for a chariot rush. you need horse inside BFC. get orange first, the rest are just suggestions after you kill hatty.

Spoiler :

@ jokulmorder:

blue needs a monument to pick up horses -> takes too long
orange misses the deers (and by that the production bonus from the plains-hill) and it misses the pigs (eastern and western ones, doesn't matter, city would be better either 1W aswell as 1E, best is probably though making 3 cities out of that)
red is ok, but one could also make 2 cities out of that, one sharing tiles with the capital, which is always of great use.

yeah i thought he wanted to get horses at some point for a HA rush, i found out later he wanted chariots. (on monarch you could probably get some of those sites next to hatty). i switched it out as soon as i looked at OP again heh. the deer could be used for another site, there could be fur/marble/silver up there and it would be good if he could fuel a city with it.

depending on which iteration you read of that mess of a post, i may not have accounted for the hills pig so there are a few unworked tiles in there. i think my current iteration is fairly solid for a post-egyptian world. green can work the hammer tiles orange had while it focuses on making GPs or starts amassing shops. red could be put on the PH to the NW but you'd leave all that green to a marginal city since i would take the spot near the deer/gold and hatshepsut will probably put a city there.

Current city-dots look a lot better than the first ones. Only problem I have, is, that you plan 4 cities having 8 sources of Food + Floodplains. Imo splitting the Food and founding more cities is more powerful. than having only a few large ones. Blue is overkill, having +14 Food. I like orange, picking up the Horses immediately and having tripple Food, and espcially 2 Food immediately, killer city. Blue has no Food at the beginning, maybe 1N? ;)

once Egypt is gone quickly, I've th good land for myself, next AI I made contact is more distant.
Means I don't have to rush and can focus on really good cities (yellow from Jokul's map is filler and would come way later)

Blue is a wonderfull site, floodplains are like farm and cottage on same tile. with the additional food I can run specialists (IND + sitting on stone + tons of concentrated food crys for mids).

Relocating depends on circumstance (if wonder or religion are in place or city has grow already). When a rush is fast but not fast enough to avoid whipping, Thebes would be probably size 1, undeveloped and in resistance. So head start of a city would be small, it mainly comes down to a settler (which is significant).
But new city will run 8 instead of 6 Rep specialists, so long term it's very juicy.
Since no real pressure and settling competition after the rush, it's perfectly viable.

blue can farm an FP until it can border pop, i think it's gonna be harder to use that corn for a meaningful city, so i would probably use blue to amass something like 300 GPP/turn  i guess it still wouldn't need to hog all those FPs though, you could probably move red so it can be a cottage city while blue just focuses on churning out merchants and turn itself into a great WS city. in hindsight that red dot is totally off, tried to make this mapping way too late at night :/ red should be 1S of the gold to work all those FPs and eventually the corn. sick commerce site.

I'm thinking along this lines as well, might put blue and red one more tile together so that the FP cottages could be better shared and worked all the time even when blue is working a lot of specislists later.

1SE of the horses gets you chariots and a strong city without a border pop, this should be your first city. This also allows you to build a city 1S of the nearby fish which could make a decent maoi statues city.

2N of the fish under the floodplains would make a strong GP farm, though it would take forever to get the national epic built.

Where you placed your city to grab the gold will take too long to grow into a good city. I would put it in between the pigs and the gold, and cottage the floodplains with an eventual city on the desert hill 4E of your capital.
