I am trying out a music recording program to record some tunes with.
When trying on my laptop to run the program I have to select a midi in and a midi out.
I have no options! When trying on my desktop I have the option in both the in and out of a 'MPU-401' and everything works fine.
But that is not at home and I really need it to work on the laptop.
Do any computer people understand MIDI in/outputs and could you tell me if I am able to find out if I have one on my Laptop? I am assuming it is a sound card thing? Both the laptop and desktop have a 'realtek AC'97' sound card.
