Does the AI always know where your units are? In my invasion of China, the AI managed to bomb my carriers despite being two squares outside of their territory, and from my intel I know that they didn't any fighters to peform recon. My carrier group had destroyers, subs & cruisers on the perimeter, so no subs could have gotten through. From my last negotiation, I know that they didn't have nearly enough money to steal my plans. So how did they find my carriers?

I wish the AI was forced to use recon. I've been playing the WW2 scenario and the AIs always manage to pick off any ships that I try to send off on their own. I've been trying to use subs as a picket line, but AI ships without detect invisible walk right up to them and sink them.

The AI has a history of cheating, and it is always very annoying. especially when it comes to combat. However there are other tricks that human players can use that the AI does not, so that balances the game somewhat. All in all, AI cheating is something that exists and that is just part of the challenge of the game

I lost two transports that the AI shouldn't have been able to see, before I remembered the AI sees all. It's really annoying - how am I supposed to launch a surprise invasion of the US West Coast if the AI can see me coming? :satan:
