I have a new model for you, if you have time, MightyToad. :)

This one is a Japanese What if unit. An Airship of all things.

Here you are. I stressed over why the props look like crap. The gunship uses a Zbufferproperty on it's rotor, but can't use that here. The props are so small you can't see them in game anyway.

Very interesting design. FYI Toad I took the Egyptian ships you made and the ones Walter posted and gave them a West African makeover based on the picture I posted. I was looking at the Pentokonters the Phoenicians built, the pictures of some of them I posted, apparently the Vanilla Civ4 Galley IS a ship of that design. I like the Horsehead and Phoenix Phoenician ships in those pictures. Walter hawkwood said that Minoan and Mycenean era Greeks had ships that looked like a cross between those Galleys and a later Greek ship like a Trireme, most likely a Bireme design I think. Ship history is amazing.

Can I make a request here? I need a Wudang Monk
    Spoiler :

I think that the attached model is a good candidate for retexturing.

The airship is finished. :) Thank you very much MightyToad. This is very exciting. This, as far as I know, is the first Civ specific what-if type airship. The first nation based airship design. With more to come, that is certain.

If you have the time MightyToad, I was wondering if you could help me to fix something. I realized that my Meso-Bombard's wheels don't actually move. :/ Do you think you could fix it? If not, that's ok too. :)

I think I'll make an American Civil War Union Steam Tank next.

I would have guessed the vanilla galley was viking. Why don't you post a screen shot, eh?

NP I will have a look at the bombard and see what can be done.

The bombard wasn't rigged at all. I rigged it to the vanilla cannon. Also swapped the cannonier out for the "south american" warrior.

Oh I didn't know that... I hope everyone will download the fixed version now. Thanks man, this is great. :) It's all coming together now... I also think I'll make more settlers and workers for regions lacking them. Mostly, Asia lol.

    Phoenician "Horsehead" Penteconter type Galley

Phoenician "Phoenix" type Penteconter, looks abit more advanced than the first one above.

    Different version of the horsehead

    Bireme Type 1

Bireme, more refined, see the shape change to a more familiar one here

This design looks familiar, abit like a cross between the galley and the trireme.

A little more help if I may ask

I was trying to create a Radhanite (Jewish merchant) unit by combining Jewish missionary with a Donkey model in nifscope

    upload_2021-4-15_10-47-29.png

However, the donkey doesn't appear in the game :undecide:

Also, I could remove the scrolls but don't know how to replace it with a moneybag.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

For the moneybag problem just import a new model over top the great merchant human one. That's what I did for my Santa unit.
For the donkey try my work on the Great Merchant with Horse. It's not fantastic but should work for your needs.

I think the best approach is to use the ancient great merchant animations. I was just looking at a Civ 5 Donkey last week, but I had no use for it. This would be the perfect application for it.
Rig that and the Jewish missionary to the GM, and replace all the crap with your moneybags.
BTW, it just occurred to me that you may not have wanted the Wudang guy to be a swordsman, but perhaps a missionary?

    Here's the Donkey:

    Sounds good :)
Oh no, I wanted him to be a swordsman - or bare hands martial fighter, whatever :)
I want to give a warrior unit (or something else) to each religion in my mod.
Wudang monk is a the Taoist counterpart of the Buddhist Shaolin monk.
Your Meso-american Eagle warrior will be Caoutl warrior for Naghualism.

Well, turns out donkeys and camels aren't very compatible. I fiddled with the rigging for a couple hours. I think this is as good as I can get it. I like the idea of a merchant that can spread religion. I'm going to use this one.

Awesome! Just as I imagined! Thank you

Yeah, it would be great, if there was some chance to spread Judaism with it when conducting trade mission.

Yeah, I'll probably get back to ships once other units are done. Ancient Mediterranean galleys haven't been done to death, yet. :trouble:
