Mistakes in the Civilopedia

I don't know if such a thread already exists, anyway:

• The tech tree shows that Synthetic Fibers require Recycling, but they don't
  
• The Synthetic Fibers Civilopedia entry doesn't say that it allows SS exterior casing
  
• The Treasury entry doesn't mention that upgrading units costs gold
  
• The Trade and Trade Routes entry doesn't say that Astronomy connect harbours by sea squares. btw it doesn't depend upon having Map Making (though you need it to build harbours, of course ).
  
• The Resistance entry says that resisters continue eating the city's food. I'm not sure about that but I think they don't.
  
• Hotkey entries don't say that Ctrl-C opens the Civilopedia

It also states in two places that Communism can draft 3 citizens per city per turn. It can only draft two.

On topic- All manuals and such have errors, and yes, this has quite a few, but I don't care, because I already know how to play. I read it for fun:crazyeyes

When Firaxis charges only ten dollars a game I will stop pointing out their errors. At forty bucks a shot - and after waiting so many years for Civ III - I expect them to get it right.

To all the Firaxis suckups it surely does not matter.

Oh boy, I can see how those civilopedia errors make the game not worth the money. They just kill the gameplay /major sarcasm

Why don't you stop crying and play the game. Now that you know these things, you shouldn't have any problems.

P.S. try posting in the v1.16f patch problems thread. It is sticky.

If you can`t contribute to the topic of the thread - SHUT UP! there`s newbies out here, there`s people who don`t have the time to go through some thousands of old threads (I never go more then 100 back ) so you`ll be seeing the same stuff pop up again after a while. LIVE WITH IT!!! Stop hunting each other from thread to thread - use email to flame each other and leave us others alone!!!!!
