I ended up merging Niessuh' dotted border with features of Cornmaster's border. Sample here, download in the next post.

    Here's the download...

Edit: Added a version with that combines my cut 'n paste with Pounders - flagged-dotted-lined borders.

 looks good to me. Going to use it. One suggestion, consult with pounder & add flags to mountains. As is obvious, my screenie skills suck. thanks for cleaning up the screenie. :)

Edit: Never was really partial to the flags myself, but since Pounder already did the work, it's an easy port - you got it. Flagged-dotted-lined borders available in post 2...

Those two have always been my favorite, and now...I have both!

It's a good thing I forgot Cornmaster's name (for Search), or else I wouldn't have gone sifting through every post in this forum to find a border :p

Could somebody post a screenshot of the flag-dotted borders? Thanks.

wow, this looks great! i liked cornmasters border, but then i also liked dots. Now if only you make a curved version, it'll be so perfect i will ignoere my core cities and just focus on the outskirts of my empire where there is more border to look at!

    Very nice. :)

I'm actually using a Civ4 inspired border now. It's only half finished....haven't gotten around to doing the mountain part. But I may just have to replace it with this. Good job!
