Hi...
I have made a Declaration of Friendship with Arabia, it confirms this when I hover my mouse over their name in the Diplomacy screen BUT when I chat to him there is still the button of DoF option available.....huh?! I have DoF with Portugal and this doesn't show as an option.
And how come I don't get the DoF option with Poland and The Celts?

Well, funnily enough, between the post and your answer, yes it has BUT it hadn't before. Like I say, it even confirmed the DoF when I hovered my mouse over the name....strange....

In addition, if either side refuses a DOF, there is a "cooling down" period of a few turns in which its not an option.

If memory serves, the DoF button always reappears a few turns (not sure how many... 5? 10?) before it expires. I assume it functions like that intentionally as a sort of early-renewal option.
