Attempting to start Mod Buddy gives the error "Cannot find one or more components. Please reinstall the application." Needless to say, reinstalling the application does not change matters in the slightest.

Where is this thread? I am still having this issue despite installing the required file. In fact I got a different error before installing it, saying that some mx100 dll was missing

What do you mean 'where is the thread'? You need to download and install the program from that link which was provided to you above. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...c4-5366-456e-abd6-0e3e6ba83b7c&displaylang=en

You also need to make sure you put in the correct folder paths when it asks for it.

The link was to a 'post' not a thread.. thereby denying my ability to respond to that thread. And I simply installed it to the path it recommended.

And I simply installed it to the path it recommended.

I was referring to this:

updatepath.png

For me, the first one was:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v\CivilizationV_DX11.exe

or for DirectX9

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v\CivilizationV.exe

Then for the 2nd one, User Path:

That will be found in your My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization V

This didn't work unfortunately. And I can no longer update it! However I can run the file from the directory modbuddy was installed from so this issue is resolved. Thanks ^^

Same here. For some reason I can't run it from the SDK menu.
