Mod error

I downloaded Rise of Mankind -mod a while ago. But now when I try to start a new game it says:

Runtime error!

Program: .../Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete/Beyond the Sword/BeyondSword.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.



What could be wrong or do I just have to delete the mod?

im getting the same error.

I think its because the mod is too big for your system. What video card u have? and how much ram? Did u dl the mega pack?

ori: It's for the right patch. Sry for posting to a wrong thread.

Ogaburan: I think ram is 2 Gt. I don't know about video card and yes I did load the mega pack.

EDIT; I also downloaded the megapack, and I have the latest civ version.

could you post your dxdiag results, please (though I doubt that that is the problem ).
could you open windows event manager and look for the error report about this crash? maybe that contains a bit more than just runtime error

This is how I found Windows event Manager

Go to control panel, set it to category mode, then pick Performance and Maintenance, after that, click Administrative tools.

And finally, you have Event Viewer

I have no logs at all under the game .exe, I even tried starting it, crashing it then refreshing the list and nothing was new.

are other mods or the core game working?

Yes, Core game is working, and 'Afterworld', is working so I assume mods work.

I tried that does my game work but I can't play (even the original game) with more than 14 or 15 civs.
