[Mod] R.E.D. for Old World (preview version)

    If you know my mods for civ4-5-6, you know that I prefer to have smaller units models with more members per unit, so my first modding test for Old World is of course a version of R.E.D.

    As it doesn't change game play and is quite simple, I'll be able to develop it and learn the game at the same time, before planning (or not) anything bigger.

    So ATM it's just a small proof of concept, it globally reduces the units and resources models sizes on the map, with a few reworked formations with more models for the very first units of the tech tree.


    Known issues: generals doesn't seems to be affected by the scale parameters, and some resources are flattened by the re-scaling.

    To install:
    • Create a new folder called "Mods" in your "..\Documents\my games\OldWorld\" folder (or "..\Documents\my games\OldWorld\Test\" folder if you're using the Test branch)
    • Download and unzip the attached file in the newly created mods folder
    • To activate you must go in Single Player -> New Game -> Next -> Advanced Setup, check the mod

    Awesome! The giant models have really been bugging me...gonna get this installed ASAP and can't wait to see what else modders come up with for this game!

    The resources look better this way, perhaps just a bit bigger, but better than the huge horses/camels :p
