I've watched Kael's video's on modding and they're extremely helpful, but I'm having a little difficulty on my Macbook. My main question deals with creating a shortcut.
1.) When I check the properties (on a mac it's called *get info*) the .exe is replaced with .app (mac specific). I tried adding the extension "mod=/" and the mod name, and it gave the prompt "removing the .app extension may turn your file into a folder." I continued on and when i clicked on shortcut it didn't load saying it couldn't find several gameinfo .xml files.
2.) When I changed the name of the shortcut to the mod name, it automatically changed the .app name as well. I tried the above procedure with the same results and i also tried without the "mod" extension....still didn't work.
Are there any Mac modders out there that can help?
