Modern Units vs Melee Units Would Look More Realistic If...

If, when engaged with a WW1 or later unit, the melee unit would always use its "throwing fire" animation rather than bum rushing the riflemen and chopping them down with their swords. Heck, I can ALMOST imagine thrown firepots possibly damaging helicopters or armored vehicles. Almost.

Infantry vs axmen

The infantry fire their guns. Based on the directions the guns are pointing in the guns would in theory hit the azmen, but you simply see them make some smoke and the bullets fly out and seem to bounce off of and dissipate off the axmen, who proceed to chop down the infantry whose guns are firing bullets that somehow dissipate upon hitting the axmen.

It's ridiculous.
