Modifier Help

I'm working on my first mod using the video tutorial provided from here:

I'm trying to figure out my own modifiers for a future Venice to input: here's what I got so far.

UU: Replace the settler with a "merchant of venice" who has the ability of Colaeus (not the faith, just the free resource... Luxury or Strategic if possible I think I found the code for this in the great people section).

UA: All of the districts in the capital provide bonus food, bonus production, and a trade route.

LA: Passive influence bonus.

UB: Up the factory's production and have it provide an amenity bonus (see Japan's electronics factory).

Can anyone help me make the modifiers actually do what I want? I've never modded before.
