Modifying config.ini and achievements

Simple question really. Been searching the forums but can't find an answer.

Will modifying the config.ini file stop me from getting achievements?

No.

What will stop you getting achievements is starting any game from the Mods menu OR connecting FireTuner to a running "non-mod" game

Don't know if opening the ingame debugger (via ~) will stop achievements as I don't use it (but I suspect it will).
