Money: What to do with it.

We currently have 1227 gold, making +60 gpt. That is a lot in these stages of the game.

We should use it on something, else it would just build up unused or pillaged by barbarians. The best would be to be a Republic and cash-rush buildings and units. 2nd best is to upgrade our army, for instance warriors to swords.

We could buy the luxury Incense from Greece. They want:
13 gpt.
WM + 11 gpt.
233 gold.
WM + 193 gold.

What should we do with it ?

Save it for upgrades. Build horses, and upgrade to knights. Our cities are in poor shape in terms of spt (best is 9spt, 2nd best is 7spt - a knight every 10-11 turns). On average, we have 5spt (knights every 15 turns). We need horsemen to upgrade.

Cash rushing buildings would be good use. However, we should also consider whether it would be worthwhile to look towards buying techs as they are soon to be researched by our neighbors.
