 that is hilarious.

And because Moore won't talk to this guy, Michael Moore Hates America, right?

Do you even know why he won't talk to that guy? Because that guy is a nut, and he doesn't want to waste his time. Just like the scientists who won't talk to the Creationists. Is it because they know they are wrong and will lose and don't want to admit it? No. It's because they don't feel the need to waste their time with people they see as unscietific baffoons.

Not that I support Bush, but couldn't you technically say the same thing about his relationship with Moore. As in "because Bush won't talk to [Moore], everything in Moore's movie must be true and accurate, right?" and "Do you even know why Bush won't talk to Moore? Because he is a nut, and he doesn't want to waste his time..."

^Yes, you could. I am suprised that Bush hasn't used this argument. However, I doubt that this is Bush's reason for not seeing the film. He probably realizes that seeing this film and not being able to rebutt it will make him look bad. Plus, he'd rather do better things with his many vacation weeks in Crawford, such as walk in a forest on his property like so many others he has allowed to be destroyed.

He deserves death threats.

Are you completely insane? Is that meant to be funny? He's a controversial author and documentary-maker. If you think what he says is wrong that's one thing. No-one deserves to get death threats.

What is it with Americans and Michael Moore? Is there anyone in America who has a mild or neutral opinion of him? Is he really that important? Is it that America has such an ideology of deference that those who mock the authorities are regarded as either heroes or dangerous villains? I don't remember Britain being split by, say, Spitting Image, yet it seems to me that Moore's role is little different from that. Can't you all just calm down a bit?

No. You pretty much either hate Moore because he's a lying propagandist or love him because he speaks against the president and often the country. That's my extremely biased view anyway. ;)

I'll say. I guess us Americans are really polarized right now, on all things political, and moore isnt diplomatic at all. When somebody makes contraversial films like Moore does....most people have strong thoughts about him....sorta like Bush, or Clinton.
Expect the same thing with "Mike Moore Hates America"

Bush may not be able to rebut it himself, but he sure has a great website he can go to.

LoL! No kidding, i've got it bookmarked. :D

And i'm sure Bush could argue with most of Moore's criticisms about him. For example, what book he was reading to the classroom, but if he went on TV and started making a big deal about it, it would just add more fuel to Moore's fire.

Last I heard Moore decided not to go to the showing of this movie in Crawford, TX. Someone left a huge pile of cow manure for Mr. Moore as a gift at one of the theaters.
