If I chose any animal it would probably be a parrot. Not exactly frightening but intelligent enough to wait for an opportunity to escape. Rise of the planet of the parrots I say

I heard pigs adapt very well to the wild, also I'd like to be as intelligent as possible, but not an ape or a dolphin.

But if I had to be a random animal I guess I wouldn't really get to choose.
