That might work, but if not open up the modinfo and set Import to 1 for Art/Scenes/MC_CalusaLeaderhead.xml - can never remember if that's necessary or not though

Yeah, doing those steps made it work. You do need to import the scene xml file for it to show up, largely because the Leader file references it.

Is something similar to this likely to be the cause of the commonly reported issue with Nikolot's leaderscreen?

I had a pretty good game going as the Calusa, which unexpectedly crashed when I tried hitting the next turn button. When I tried reloading it, the same thing happened.
Here's a list of the mods I was using. Normally I would try going through and disabling each of them individually to see what the issue is, but I can't load the game without them. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
I'd be more than happy to post a log, but to be honest I'm not sure how to get one :/
