more forbidden palaces

I think could be useful to makes possible build as many forbidden palaces as you like. This could help each players to buil city with long distance from main palace without high level of wasted shields and money.(players could build new city in all the map).

Yes - perhaps one FP for every 'X' amount of cities owned. Then massive corruption can be rampant in the game but you finally would have an effective means to curb it.

I agree there should be more than one, but the number has to be limited. Else why not just change the corruption rules?

The corruption is the real problem. Otherwise why not build one in every city.

This might work with each extra one costing X times more, where X is the number of Forbidden Palaces in the game. One thing to remember is that cities on the other side of the world from your capital are pretty much doomed to be only 1 shield, but it does make sence there.

Hey Sid have gotten so old that he does not like to conquer the world anymore. So he come up with this dump corruption rule so no one else can conquer the world too.
IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY PALACE OR COURT HOUSE OR POLICE STATION YOU HAVE....THERE IS ONE RULE THAT COME FIRST: IF YOU HAVE OVER X NUMBER OF CITIES. All CITIES OVER THE X NUMBER IS DOOM PERIOD.

Yep, Sid doesn't like world conquerors anymore...
However he has become a mass murderer. In modern times WWIII always breaks out and leaves a devastated earth. In no period there are more slave workers than in modern times when you raze 20 cities you conquered just because you didn't want to have more than X cities...

Well, I play a modified game, and I've set the Cathedral to reduce corruption as well...I figure, hey, religion probably has an impact on corruption

I think that the courthouse should actually reduce corruption by 50% instead of doing nothing in distant cities. Also, the police station should be cumulative for a 75% drop. They could increase the upkeep on the police station to keep the gameplay balanced. I should send this to firaxis....
