I'm loving the new AI, particularly its ability to mount successful amphibious invasions. But I was wondering is it possible to tell it to land troops in different locations?
I ask because I was recently attacked and the AI landed 5 boat loads of units right next to one of my cities, unfortunately for him it was the city that currently had my entire army in it as I was planning to invade him!!! so he got completely trashed.
Thing is, he then sent boat load after boat load to the exact same city, the only one in my empire with walls and a castle and 40+ units- if he had of moved his landing spot just a handful of squares further up the coast I would have been finished.
Does the AI pick a city to engage or does it simply make a bee-line to the closest?
