PS. I urgently need an artist in my team :p Much work to do and making an art slows me down significantly. An my art is not the best.

@Cat-du-fromage I checked if after reloading game recognizes wonder and sets dummies correctly and I cannot find any issue. I have no idea why you get so much xp. And in your version there is still 2XP from Zimbabwe per TR, and that means you have over 70 dummies! @HungryForFood Do you have any idea why he has such problems in multi if single works correctly?

Then that's weird. Like lua was not working as intended. Or some functions were disabled.

I rarely play Authority and I hadn't had the opportunity to build The Great Zimbawe, I confirm the bug noted by Cat-du-fromage.
It isn't a mutltiplayer problem since it's a singleplayer game.
I have done the XP calculations and I think that all the trade routes involved (or available) are counted, not sure it helps.
I looked at the code to try to understand but I'm not good enough, I don't even know when to fire: Events.UnitActionChanged.Add(SetDummiesOnUnitActionChange) :blush:

I have in my capital (city with Great Zimbawe) 4 BUILDING_GREAT_ZIMBABWE_DUMMY and I control actually 4 trade routes.
XPs Bonus are 83 with :
Barracks : 15
Armory : 20
Order : 15
Great zimbabwe : approximately 75 (because I play in quick speed)
50 + 75 = 125 *2/3 = 83.333

I have seven cities.

To complete, I removed Great Zimbabwe and Dummies from my capital with IGE and the surplus of XP continues.

So if number of dummies is set correctly, then what can be the source of those xp? @Cat-du-fromage said it happens only when Great Zimbabwe is built. Can you check all other cities you own? Maybe it is set in more than one city, and because XP bonus from dummy is global, it stacks up? By default dummies should be set only in city with GZ.

Maybe it is a VP thing? Can you do further investigation?

BTW @gwennog, @Cat-du-fromage @AndreyK, @pineappledan I have 2 questions regarding your gameplay:
  • I set population requirements for Brooklyn (15 citizens in Industrial) and CN Tower (25 Citizens in Information). Could you elaborate they are not too low or too high in those eras? How much population do your cities have?
  • Similar question for GWs.
    • I set currently 3 Art for Uffizi (Renaissance) and 4 for Museum Island and Louvre (Industrial), but I think of raising them all by one. Possible?
    • I set 2 Music for Broadway (Modern) and 3 for Sydney (Information).
    • How many GWs of any type (Literature too) do you have in you average culture based gameplay?

I play on large map Planet Simulator with 12 AI and 24 CS on epic speed and I use a number of modmods:
C Events, Events & Des, VP Bare Necessities, EE, Ancient, Medieval & Ren, Industrial, Strategic Buildings, NW Collection, 4 UC, WC Reformation and I have to delay scientific advancement, so my gameplay differs from standard.
But in Industrial my capital usually in 40-48 and my 6-7 other developed cities well in 33-38.
Using Decisions give me with every era since Medieval 1 additional GW/GA/GM so by Industrial I have 4 of them, it could be 2 GW and 2 GA or GA and 3 GM or other combination.
GW not counting from conquest, (in culture based if I play as Arabia or Japan, Greece, Siam) I usually have by Industrial (in middle of Era) of Writing 6-8 and I use as culture bombs about 5-8 (because by Industrial I am able to faithbuy 3, also as Japan buy 3 GG/GA, as Arabia even more, as any WW and GP gives 20% to random GP), of Art 8-12 (depends on number spent for GA points, wonders I able to get other factors)
GM 6-12.

I recalled my save when building Great Zimbabwe. Problem start immediately (the next turn, time to create a unit)
Capital have the Wonder and 2 dummies (3 trades routes but one finished the turn I constructed GZ)

I replicated the bug, but have no idea what's going on. @pineappledan, @HungryForFood, @psparky, @Asterix Rage: can you look at my code and/or Building_DomainFreeExperiencesGlobal (same like for Brandenburg) function in dll and tell me why the XP number gifted to units rises almost randomly? I analysed the code, used printed statements, checked dummies, and still have no clue what's going on...

Number of dummies is steady in my example game: 3-5 active trade routes, same number of dummies, 1 land, 4 sea. But the XP number grows. I played up to 64 XP. I noticed jumps by 4 XP sometimes more. Speed: fast like for @gwennog.

Is it a requierement for the city itself or national citizen like national wonder?

anyway, 15 citizens (city or national) is achieve by almost all city in industrial era, i have at least 20 citizens in almost all my cities.

for the CN tower... difficult to say, we often finish our game before reaching this era, but maybe in our current game we may go further.

i'm currently playing authority/artistry/imperialism and i could fill those wonder even if you raising them all by one. Currently( early industrial era) i have : 6 writing art (+3 i use for culture boost), 2 artist art (+ 4 i use for golden age point), 5 music art.
(note i didn't digg any of the antiquity site in my territory)

my fear is more about the theming requirements, we don't trade great work in multiplayer, we considere this a waste of time for (+4 yield), as for wonders.... knowing that your opponent has a wonder that would gave him +10 yield bonus, you don't want to give him that bonus. So trade is out of question

do you know if there is a way to remove those conditions?
 
There's probably no other way than changing sql by yourself. All those requirements are set in table Building_ThemingBonuses and if you set them to 0 then you will need to fill the slots only, but what's the point of theming then?
 
I just researched Trade (and founded Eraclea with the GM), but I can't build Petra. Desert city plus an adjacent Mountain should be enough no? Am I missing something? (It has not been build by someone else yet)

Good catch. Petra as changed couple of times and I forgot to delete NoCoast requirement. You cannot build it because your city is coastal. In next release it will be fixed, so Petra will need only Mountain (any not only near) and Desert. Sorry for trouble.
 
I set population requirements for Brooklyn (15 citizens in Industrial) and CN Tower (25 Citizens in Information). Could you elaborate they are not too low or too high in those eras? How much population do your cities have?

To build Brooklyn, I think 25 citizen in the city minimum
To CN Tower, I not sure population are the good choice, have a lot of people to gain a lot of people ? Happiness limitation like Bakken or X great works of music in all cities ?

Similar question for GWs.

For me, theming bonus of GW > 2 are too weak, adding a GW to get them further complicates the matter and prioritizes combinations of 2 IMO
I don't like Le Louvre and I build it rarely, I don't no why but I find it weak (but the real one is definitely worth the detour. :)). A good addition would be that it gives archaeologists a promotion to cross borders and collect without open border.

In a average culture game (if I play tradition), in end of industrial era :
4 GW of literature + 3-4 Culture boost
4 GW of art + 1-2 golden age boost
2-3 GW of music
 
Regarding Louvre: Sorry, but I avoid like hell touching base Wonders. You can suggest that on VP github if you find it weak. There is already similar problem with Brandenburg Gate.
