My favorite victory condition is shiny thing syndrome, where I get the overwhelming urge to try out another race, and kind of abandon my current game.

I've never completed a game of FFH yet, despite having played a great many games.. But I started a calabim game on a Duel sized world last night, and I'm determined to finish that one.

I kind of wish the AI could recognise when they're hopelessly outclassed, and just capitulate to save the effort of going over there and invading them.

Dang, I forgot to include the Cultural Victory... Argh! Anyone ever won a cultural victory? Ever???

Once, as Infernals. AC 100 really generates manes for you. :P

Normally it's AotL or accidental religious victory.

Yeah, as Clan of Embers. My first two cities were pretty good candidates with a lot of wonders between them and the third one was the Doviello capital I had conquered that just had so much food, it was no trouble creating enough bards to bring it over rather quickly. The world was two continents and I had killed everyone else off of mine so it was either culture or build a huge navy to move my enormous army. Went with culture since it was faster.

I've never achieved a Cultural Victory... haven't figured this one out yet. Need three cities with 50,000 Prestige, right? Got all the others though.

Yeah, 3 cities with legendary culture (50,000.) That's on normal speed mind you, the boundary shifts on other speeds.

Sidar make the Cultural Victory almost trivial.

Otherwise, Luonnatar is pretty easy with my playstyle too. Or, at least, those are the only games I play out to the end since Conquest victories require too much boring mopup.

My victories probably look something like:

55% tower
20% domination
20% altar
5% religious
0% conquest
0% culture

Well, I'm sure of the last 2. Those aren't estimates.

Typically, I tend to gravitate toward Religious when I don't accidentally achieve either domination or conquest as the result of my religious proselytism! Usually my games (on standard speed, normal sized Erebus map, Prince level) run about 450-550 turns before winning. I don't consider myself an expert strategist! :)

Yep. Elohim + Drama, then the usual religions, wonders and artists. Go Artists early for GAs.

Once you get the near the target, cast your world spell and slam the culture slider right up. It helped playing continents and knocking out my neighbours (poor Luichirp) so that my foes had to come over the sea anyway. In the unlikely event that you snag Birthright Reclaimed you get sixty turns of peace!

I usually end up with ToM. As Jules said, taking over the world is tedious. If I'm dominating the game in all aspects but too lazy to go marching all over the place* I just play around with the Metamagic spell and get the towers up and usually gold-rush the ToM.

*especially on larger maps. On a Small map I don't mind world conquest but on Standard it just takes too much micromanagement for my liking, although sometimes I get by with Vassalising.

I am currently working on my first ever tower victory. Otherwise, its domination or conquest. It just doesn't seem like a victory to me unless your ememies are crushed under your heel.

same here. the few games ive actually won have been conquest, none of which were in FfH epic (the scenarios and games i played before i found out about FfH).

as for the capitulation, they do. usually if im friendly or sometimes pleased w/ another civ and i form an alliance, doubling my team's score, the next turn i get at least 5 requests for capitulation, most of which i turn down because of the intense micromanagement it causes.
