I agree, aronnax simply redrew that map of Europe to satsfy some unkown desire.

Both the Czech Republic and Slovenia have historically intimate ties with Western Europe due to Austria, of which Slovenia was historically part of proper anyway. As for the Czech Republic being western, I give the example of Jan Hus.

You are plain wrong. Eastern Europe as a region was defined by the Cold War, to exclude both Chech republic and Slovenia is non-sense and very silly.

You will never find a European saying that Slovenia or the Chech Republic is part of Western Europe.

Everything East of Sttetin and Trieste is Eastern Europe.
