Most Random Custom Game

I'd like to play a game where I don't know if I'm on a pangaea, or archipelago, or continent, etc. Is there a way that I can get a completely random map, where the only thing I specify is the size?

Try the Random Map Script from my signature. It basicly does exactly what you ask for.

The 'Shuffle' map option randomly chooses between Pangaea, Archipelago, Continent, or Fractal map type. That's the option I usually pick, along with random leader and random climate.

Ah, Shuffle. I was curious about that. Odd that they broke with the trend, and didn't just call it Random. I'll be playing on shuffled maps from now on.

Refar's Random Script Chooser is much better than the standard 'shuffle' option. Its worth checking out in the Map Scripts forum and/or download section.

Probably to distinguish it from a specific script that was truly random, sort of like Fractal.

Be aware that even if you choose shuffle, you can still tell which type of game you're running (land mass, climate, map size, etc.) if you open up the game info window and check it out in there. So if you want a true surprise, be sure to avoid that window.
