I am still having major issues with my mouse. Ever since I installed this poison of a game onto my computer, it has tampered with something. I don't know what, or it would be fixed by now. I built this computer myself, and it has never had any errors of any kind, much less this one. The mouse cursor freezes on screen, and only a hard boot with fix it, and only temporarily, until it happens again.
I have reinstalled the video card (its not overheating). I don't have onboard audio, I reinstalled my sound and mouse drivers. I have downloaded the absolute latest DirectX. This problem has never, ever happened until the very day i installed Civilization IV. Take Two keeps telling me something different each time, and each time, its my hardware's fault. How could this be, if it never happened before. My computer plays everything well, and this mouse thing is pissing me off.
They distributed a rotten program, and it has tampered with my computer. Now the mouse even freezes on the desktop. I have no idea how to fix it
My specs:
3.4 P4, 1 Gb RAM, GeForce 6600 GT 128 MB AGP8X, 5.1 surround Audigy EAX3, Windows XP Pro.
Can anyone help me?
