Anyone know of a program where I can cut out parts of songs? I downloaded a copy of Revolver (my dad has an LP but its too much work to get that onto my computer) but most of the songs truly end about 3/4 of the way through, and then cut back in at random times. Its really annoying.

Use Goldwave (www.goldwave.com). You can PM me for a cool mp3 conversion tool...

Thanks, I'm installing and trying it out now. I don't think I need an mp3 conversion program, as CDex works pretty well for copying CDs as mp3s.

EDIT: For some reason I can't save it as an mp3. I downloaded that LAME thing and put it in Program Files->Goldwave...but its not working...

I think I did what I wanted to, but I can't save...

EDIT 2: Seems that the LAME file I downloaded and unzipped didn't have the Lame_en.dll file, which is the one I need...:o

EDIT 3: At least I found a way to get the Beatles to sound like a Chipmunks techno group...

Nevermind. I missed the most obvious solution - save in another format and convert to mp3.

Thanks, now Revolver sounds wonderful on my iPod. :goodjob:
