Alright, so I really need an mp3 player. Until recently I had a cd player in my car, so at least I listened to music there, but now I have a new car without a cd player there, finally pushing me to buy an mp3 player, something I should have done a while back anyways.

Well, I spent two days reading a lot of reviews on PC Magazine, but I am no closer to picking one than when I started. I was wondering if someone had a good/bad mp3 player they really like/dislike and if they could share that information.

Also, if someone knows a lot about the players and knows a good one to get I would apreciate it. I am looking for a good player, with good radio reception, a changable batterie, etc. Nothing too fancy or expensive but obviously without any big flaws. Any help is apreciated.

Yeah, bad idea. But still... I would recommend an iRiver h10. Know why? It doesn't come with Itunes.

I like my IPod Video. If you have a membership at Costco the $300 price tag is worth it since it essentially gets a lifetime warranty there.

Don't get an iPod. The interface and iTunes are horrible, and stop you from doing alot of things you could do with other Mp3 players. I'd recommend a SanDisk Audio Player, or something by SanDisk. It's easy to use, and can hold wma's (which iPod can't).

Well the iRiver H340 is amazing... that would be my top pick... only it costs a lot more than some of the others.

I would go for the Creative Vision M... although it only has a 30gb model at the minute, it has a far better screen than the iPod video and is more versatile... and Creative make great quality products.

I've been stung by iPod, so add me to the list of those who say don't get one. Also don't get one because it's file format is very inconvenient if you don't live your entire life in "Macworld"

My wife has an early iRiver, I'm quite impressed with them, definitely worth a look. I recently bought a Sandisk Sansa, it's pretty good too.
