Birka is on IWorks. We don't have Mil Trad as yet but we can get it from Joan later. It would be best to get England to declare and then bring Joanie in. I really don't want to deal with WW again. Also burn all Lizzies cities or they will flip. Our culture is atrocious, just like Vikings should be, and we won't be able to keep anything.

Still no mention of TOE? Electricity would be nice to irrigate more for specialists.

I'm fine with your ToE plan :) I also agree with the general plan vs England, sooner it starts, the better.

In response to Meteor Punch's suggestion on attacking England, I would have to say that I'm against RoP'ing anyone, as that's not how I like to play these games, however, I didn't see it mentioned in the original post that stated the rules and, well, it's your game, so you have the last word :)

Does he mean RoP or MPP. I'm against MPP because it will probably drag us in with the resulting WW.

    I like the ToE thing.

And of course, we don't want nukes to ne fired on us, so let's build SDI. It might save us :)

We had better have this over by then. In the all legionaire game we had about 300 legions running around witha ton of armies. Pillage all iron / salt / rubber, fill in destroyed areas and rush temples and we're home free. We had legions vs. inf until we got the tech to see rubber. that was rough. Also combat workers to rail enemy area helped a lot to move units to the front. I would look at shield out put and fix core with factories IF and only if it will produce quicker Zerks without a lot of shield waste.

    I was sarcastic....:D

Shouldn't we try to stop the tech pace and win before Infantry?

I'm not sure when I'm gonna get this, so the options are to skip me, have a lurker grab it (SW?), or just wait a bit. :)

I agree in stopping the tech pace for them. Not us though and inf for landings would be nice along with factories and coal mines. Our immediate goals for the next 20 will be railnet to harbor of departure, boats a plenty and railing core to achieve optimum shield count for vikes. The English war will be tough and initially we should grab the 5 islands where Lizzie has an adjacent presense and burn her harbor core cities. Then when we get infantry mount a landing where we can hold until she burns her top-tier units while we disconnect resources with armies and knock off core cities.

Rethinking the TOE perhaps we should go after ELECT > RP > SCIMETH for TOE and grab AT and IND. Then our last research would be Electronics for the hydroplants to replace coal.

Please comment if you have them. I feel this game will get to infantry and we will have to know it so we can disconnect thier rubber.

Yeah, you're right. Luckily, we will still be able to build transports, destroyers, and cruisers with Combustion.

    don't research rep parts :D

Ouch!!! That will make this tougher than the all-legion variant.

I think the Legion upgrade path was taken out for that game.

I'll be able to play in two days. I think the next turn will be setting up to invade England (much like Sesn's last turns :hmm: ).
