MPCiv2

Hi all ...

I'm running Civ 2.42 (original). I have gotten MPCiv2 working (1.21 , but using the 1.3b mpciv2.dll). My question is :

While not registered, the game seems to "stop" me at arouns 200 AD, saying it's the limit for those who havent't registered. What now - how much does it cost to register, etc.

I do believe 1.3 was a freeware version and doesn't require registering. If you go to the patches thread in the CivLadder forum I have a link to that version there. The saves should be compatible too!

Hi ... thanx for the link. I had 1.3b, but when I try and start it, I get a "Really Known Error" message if I try to start a TCP/IP game - I'll try and join one soon, but I suspect a problem. Is anyone here actually using MPCiv2 sucessfully ?
