It's been 5 days since our last string of turns. Stagnation is setting in...I'm hoping our leader will step in soon and do something about it. Elections are approaching.

And if His Duckiness doesn't show in the next 24 hours I'm suggesting we the cabinet appoint an interim leader. How does that sound?

Well...it is the Christmas holiday......you can expect some absents.

I'd give him to Jan 1st. If he has reared his head by then, he will be considered Missing, and Poto will have to take over. (Although I haven't seen him post in the forum yet, which means CoH, you have to take over. And Pellaken becomes Interm Diplomacy Leader)

Well Corn, that sounds good, in theory. I'm just wondering if anyone has the game except Poto (who effectively hasn't posted in the last 2 weeks I think, I was about to post a thread about it, but I'll use this one). Cause if Poto can't answer too, we have a serious problem cause we won't have the game. So does anyone of you has the game?

BTW, CoH how do you planned to make a cabinet appoint? Cause I don't think I could manage to go to Belgium or outside of the country.

And that reminds me, Anime hasn't post in awhile too, he just PMed me 2 weeks ago to tell me he had exam that week, and I hadn't seen him since then, except small post in my poll. So I'm stuck to do his job. I thought I would be a lazy government worker when I took the job.

New Rule: President MUST e-mail saved game to the MOD Liasion (at the end of the turn). Considering the MOD Liasion is a MOD and is always around.

But we still have a serious problem, so what do we do? Do we have any other means to join duck? And, does Poto has the game? If yes, maybe we could try to join him to continue. If not, we do not have any mean to continue the game so we just stand here and wait. Maybe our Corn could try to join duck by email, and Poto too.

BTW Corn, I don't like to be call Unknown. I feel like I'm not a real poster. Call me soldier or unknown soldier please.

The problem is that some of us are really lazy to go writing big names. I wonder if ThunderFall doesn't like being called TF, will I have to write his whole nickname all the time?

if we get the game, but our Prez and Vice dont return, and Hippo takes over, who becomes Vice? if there is no vice, who take over if Hippo disapears? AoA? or... an even more scary thought... me! dont worry though, if I become Prez, after shannagans like that, I'll call immideate elections, and will not play any turns. 2 sucessors is enough

I think that all the keshens I have... so far what I know from this froum is that you will try your darndest to contact Duck. maybe we should raise money and all take a trip to belgium?

Sorry guys that i hadn't informed yo about this.I took a vacation ,and planned to continue the game on 2 januari ,after the holiday's. That was because a lot of member's ,including some leader's were also absent for the holiday's.and several member's requested a break.
Then again ,if you want me to continue the game now i can do that.
Me myself was in France for a few days ,so i was unable myself to continue this game ,as the save game resides on my hompe computer.I mailed to Poto ,but it seems i just can reach him.
I couldnt continue the game myself before i left ,because some poll's had still to be opend.

Missing a vice president ,and some leader's ,it's not easy to continue the game.Then again i can mail the save game to Corn if you want.

edit: after playing some turn's today ,i noticed that the poll's arn't viewable ,please everybody if you vote tell me by reply what you voted.I have played till 750bc now and i'll continue on 2 januari.

the US system is one of the best political systems in the world... its used in alot of other naitons to like... uh... um... I think liberia... I know Russia has a similar system, with 2 senators {federation councilmembers} per state {or, autonomous okorg} personally, I think its better then the British system, but some disagree, the British system is used in nations like Canada, Australia, India, and other former colonies. Personally, my system's the best, its the US system, with a 12 member cabinet, with Cort powers in certain impeachment cases, and this 12 member cab. has some leg. powers. then 1 leader, like a prez... anyways, I am WAY off topic, back to my original topic, the US system...

the US sytem can work without a vice. I suggest and wonder, will we simpally continue without a vice? and should the prez, in the future, 'die' {dissapear, resign...} will we then continue without a vice? will then the Diplomat become secessor?

to clarify:
what will we be doing, A or B

A
when the prez leaves, or in unavaiable, or the vice leaves, or in unavaiable, we will then make the vice the prez {if the prez is the one away} and continue without a vice. if the prez should go missing after this, we will then make the diplomatic leader the prez

B

if this is done, say, for example, like what happened, Duck and Poto go missing, but this time they dont come back. Hippo then takes over as Prez, and I, as Diplomacy leader. if Hippo then disappears, will AoA take over as Prez, or will I?

AoA will, because you will appoint a deputy, so when you become pres. and dissapear, your deputy will take over, and he will have a deputy...

No one is "promoted" to a position. They just become interm leader.

Like if Duck and Poto would have been out. Then CoH would have been Acting President. We would have no Vice (Although AoA would be next in line a.k.a. Vice President but we don't need a vice....considering all they do is take over from the president) Pellaken would have been Acting Diplomacy Officer. It's important to keep the "Acting" there.....you shouldn't be promoted just because someone dies/disappears. You need to earn it. Which most Acting positions would probably win the election (if they do a good job that is. )
