definitely , have you ever played chess against yourself. I think there can be some interesting things you can learn from playing one side of your brain against the other. It is hard to play serious though.
Yeah, taking the turns of two civs would probably be a really simple way of comparing two civs as well. If you want to make it only a 2 player game, do a mirror map, and see which one can get eco up fastest or whatever. I might try this at some point...
You'll be in exactly the same screen as for Single Player except you can choose on the side between Human/AI for each Civ.
Personally I've tried it once or twice and think its really annoying passing the mouse between you after every turn... but maybe its just not my sort of thing.
