Multi Civs

1) I don't think that's possible

2) Why would you want to do that?

Sounds boring... lol

definitely , have you ever played chess against yourself. I think there can be some interesting things you can learn from playing one side of your brain against the other. It is hard to play serious though.

Yeah, taking the turns of two civs would probably be a really simple way of comparing two civs as well. If you want to make it only a 2 player game, do a mirror map, and see which one can get eco up fastest or whatever. I might try this at some point...

explain me howto do with hotseat please.

I want to show my girlfriend Civ4 by playing single player with her, and im NOT paying for another copy of the game. i only have one computer.

Multiplayer --> Hotseat ---> New Game

You'll be in exactly the same screen as for Single Player except you can choose on the side between Human/AI for each Civ.

Personally I've tried it once or twice and think its really annoying passing the mouse between you after every turn... but maybe its just not my sort of thing.

Depends how much of a hurry you're in. It still beats PBEM games where you typically have one turn per day. ;)

i dont mind because i want my GF to be able to play.

thank you!

Last one, how do i make it show leaderhead name instead of profile name? can i delete my profile?

It's a great way to compare civs.
