Multiplayer civ password

I entered a game once, put a password to my civ, and got disconnected during the game.

When I connected again, there was no room left in the game, meaning another player took my civ!

Is this a known bug?

Or have I to change my password? (I take always the same)

You don't always drop from multiplayer games when disconnected.

ie.
You drop from a game, the game halts with a message waiting for player XXXXX....
The game however doesn't actually recognised you have dropped.
Then when you try to rejoin the game refuses, saying it is full.


The way around this is just to wait for 5 minutes until the game properly times you out. Then you can rejoin.

ok i knew this kind of thing happenned. But in this case, I saw before one room left in the game, couldn't join for some connection problems, and after a restart of my computer/internet connection it was back to 6/6 players instead of 5/6. Not sure if I'm clear.

Fair enough, the password shouldnt be reset on a disconnect.
Although i think it does get reset if you quit or retire from the game.

Also i think there's some issue with take over ai setting that causes the password to be reset in some circumstances, i just cant remember what it was right now.
