Hey all
I just tried my first multiplayer game over our house's LAN. Apart from a little disagreement between Norton Antivirus and Civ, it went pretty well. But my one gripe was that I was unable to engage in diplomacy (trade, open borders, etc) with my human opponent, even though these options remained open for AI civs. All I could do was declare war or send annoying chatroom style messages.
I can't see anything in the options screen to get around this, but I can't believe multiplayer diplomacy is impossible - does anyone know how it's done?
